Even though the palace is now only a museum, you can still appreciate how magnificent it once was as you explore its courtyards, the Treasury, many pavilions, religious relics, weaponry, and the Harem. For centuries, the palace served as the political hub of the powerful Ottoman Empire.

Hagia Sofia complex: The neighboring building that contains the Sultan Tombs, which are home to the remains of five Ottoman sultans from the 16th and 17th centuries, is a lesser-known aspect of the Hagia Sofia complex. A multitude of sarcophagi bearing the wives, children, and other notables lie beside the tomb of each sultan. The tombs are exquisitely crafted, showcasing exquisite tile work, mosaics, calligraphy, and kundekari, a decorative carpentry technique that involves interlocking wood pieces and mother of pearl.

The two towers that surround the city gate date to the Hellenistic era, which began around three centuries BC.

Aspendos has a breathtaking theater that is still in use for special events. Constructed in the year 155 AD, this Roman theater features Greek architectural elements and is often regarded as the finest example of a Roman theater still standing today.

The palace is lavishly furnished with gold, priceless stones including alabaster, marble, and porphyry, crystal accents like chandeliers and the Crystal Staircase, and exquisite carpets.

The tour leader was well informed. provided us with information throughout and included a song and dance. Although it was an extra treat, I never would have thought to visit the mosque. boat cruise was soothing, and the Green Canyon was stunning. Interesting ruins were found there. The waterfall was lovely. I don’t like heights, so the visit to the dam was a little nerve-wracking for me, but it was also a beautiful photo opportunity.
Overall, a fantastic experience in Turkey

It’s a truly enjoyable experience. Since I’m not in the best physical condition and can’t swim, which is not a must, I was rather anxious at first. You are able to put on a helmet and a life jacket.

When visiting Antalya, I suggest that my beloved friends visit this location, which is conveniently located near public transportation. Make use of the park and get stunning images. Traditional cafés may also be found all throughout the city.
