This trip is a must-do if you appreciate sampling a wide variety of cuisines and learning about other cultures while in Kuala Lumpur. Our guide, Sean, spent an amazing four hours walking about the city and stopping at some hidden-away restaurants before taking the train to a different part of town to sample some more delicious food. We scheduled this tour well in advance of our trip to KL.
What a wonderful encounter! The most comprehensive introduction to Malay history, culture, and cuisine available! The guide was really enthusiastic and passionate. We saw some incredible sights, sounds, and tastes while on the afternoon excursion. Anyone visiting KL should definitely do this trip, but make sure you eat beforehand!
For me, this was the high point of my brief visit to KL. The name of the place pretty much sums it up: you eat and discover where people pray. You might fall in love with the location, I suppose.
Although we took this tour towards the end of our vacation, we would highly suggest starting it in the beginning as it’s a terrific way to find restaurants and locations you might want to return to later.
An pleasant and really entertaining tour. gave us a tour of the historic city center and effectively introduced us to the most of the sites. She provided us lots of helpful advice and taught us a lot about the history and culture of the area. I would unquestionably suggest her and do another trip with her in KL.
